Fishing Notes |

Fished from 11-4, my focus today was to slow way down and since there was little to no wind I decided to make things simple and only throw the jig. I believe the mistake I made last outing was I fished way to fast with to many different baits. So, I forced my self to slow down and it helped. Although, it wasn’t an awesome day but I did have quite a few more bites than the last trip! Today I targeted creek channel chunk rock/ledgy type banks. I’d cast up on the bank and slowly drag the jig back to the boat. All my bites came in between 3′-10′ of water. This technique seem to work pretty good. Even though I only caught 6 fish, I probably had a dozen bites that didn’t hook up. |
