Finally made it back fishing after visiting the big city and being sick and well it was slow, it is winter fishing. Had 3 bites, 1 keeper, 1 short off a steep chunk rock bank half to 3/4 way back in cove with thin layer of ice still on very back of cove. Had another what I believe to be a good fish on and came unbuttoned half way back to boat, was also 3/4 way back in cove on a rounded point. Main lake was rocking and rolling and didn’t have energy to fight heavy wind and ended up breaking a megabass 110 in half off a dock pole, err. Had plenty of shad around, most were deeper in water column in places fished. |
