Lake Ozark and Osage River below Bagnel Dam |
Fishing Notes |
---|
It is kinda like three fishing reports in one. The last few day I have fished the Lake Ozarks and the Osage River below Bagnel Dam. On the lake I had a limit in 1 1/2 hours. The fish where in 35 foot of water in or around brush. The second day I had just 5 keepers in 5 hours. They where in 25 foot of water around brush. The third day I fished the Osage River. I only had three keepers. They where in 15 foot water around brush. In the three days I started fishing around eight O’clock and by 10:30 the bite was over each day. The next time I go out I’m starting at day light I think the bite is best early and then go home at 11:00 am. The three things I’m looking for is deep water, brush and starting early. I may take minnows next time too. A double 1/32 oz jig rig on 4 lb test line and blue white tub or slab buster baits. Like they say go early and stay late well go early any ways. |
