Pulled boat from usual 28 mm fishing area due to not liking water clarity and colder temps and put in at Shawnee bend access, fished both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday only caught 5 shorts fishing channel banks in coves. Today fished channel banks in coves and where catching couple shorts here and there. Pulled up on a secondary point and caught a short and then a keeper on back to back cast and ended up catching a couple more shorts and then nothing so proceeded fishing towards back of cove with no luck and came back to point and caught a keeper and another short on back to back cast and a few more shorts with 2 fish pulling off. Caught somewhere between 10 to 12 fish off a spot about the size of a pickup truck. Fun day for this weekend warrior. |
