Fishing Notes |
---|
I fished the Glaze from Alhonna south. Started off fishing steep banks and moved to the backs of coves early on. Spent most of the day pulling shad of a jerkbait and even hooked a few on a drop shot. Finally was able to catch a 13″ fish on a point near Passover School using the megabass 110. Water temp and color had drastic changes depending on where you were. I saw everything from mud color water in the creeks to slight stain near Alhonna, water from 41 at Alhonna to pockets of 55 degrees. Found pockets of warm water in the backs of coves. Meet a friend of mine at the LORA weigh in that managed to 2 fish weighted in 6+ lbs fishing a square bill. He stayed inside the glaze all day as well. |
