Got to Coffman Beach before eight this morning and started out. Threw a jerkbait, spinnerbait and wiggle wart. FireTiger was the color with a slow crank in some shallow water. Targeted some small chunk rock with pea gravel close by and that seemed to get the bites. Caught two nice quality four pounders on the bait. Look to get out early again tommorow. Jerkbaits for me seem to be picking up lots of short fish now. |
