Had a very rough start. Several bites on the jig and spinnerbait early but couldnt get anything in the boat. Decided to move in behind some docks that butted up against condos and started getting a pretty steady bite on the chatterbait. One keeper and a few small guys then started getting restless. Always loved my lipless crankbaits but havent used one this year yet and decided to throw one on. Three cast later I had a five pounder in the boat!! Wish I could have found another but that was it. Did see at least three large girls bedding but they wouldnt bite anything. Probably should have tried a soft plastic. |
