Our club spring tourneys are done so put boat on lift at house and took a short trip out last nite from 6:30 to 8:30 to check some brush piles I put out this winter that I haven’t even fished yet and only fished 2 of them but one pile was loaded. Caught one around 3 lb and then hung a limb and pulled up so I moved to the next one and caught a 16 incher. Worked my way back to the other pile and caught 2 more pushing 4 lb. had one in brush on main lake pile. Threw the spook paralleling bank right before dark with no takers. Fun night for sure, if this weekend warrior can catch a limit in 2 hours fishing must be good. |
