My brother and I had a guide trip with James Dill today. Saw all of the videos and wanted to check it out. Started around 10am and fished from 22-20 of main lake bluffs/points. Caught 8-9 including a few big Kentucky’s on Crock O Gator jig (expecting something else?). Got hot and really sunny around noon and switched to a white fluke. Fished large dock corners just inside the Glaize where the water was much clearer. Caught about 20 in ~90 min. Nothing big but fun to catch. A lot of action on the flukes and saw the bass come out from under the docks to grab it. If they missed, would come around again to get it. Never fished the fluke before but will again. Great day although my brother beat me 15-13 after me being down. Would recommend James for a great day fishing on the lake. |
