Crappie are moving up onto rocky ledges in the mornings feeding pretty good. Fall pattern with windy, shady bluff banks. Brush is helpful but not needed. 6lb Stren original gold line 3/32oz jig head curl tail grub white/blue body chart tail. Fenwick River Runner rod 6’6” light action

Fishing Notes

This is a great time to get a basket full of black crappie while they are somewhat shallow. Black crappie are a little thicker and just more fun. Rarely are they as venerable as right now. Some white crappie are up there too but the brush piles in 10-20 ft are more consistent for them.

Also I did not keep 66 crappie myself. Those were spread out between several customers yesterday and today. 2 morning trips
