Fishing Notes

this is two reports in one, last night Quent and I fished the Thursday night 3 fish tournament and had a nice second place finish, we had 8 keepers, but all the fish came after dark, 10 inch power worms, black-blue and shakey head’s was what worked for us. Just off the main lake points, we fished a lot of brush and only found them in a few, but when you found them you could really catch them. We did not have a fish until after dark, and the ones we weighted in came in the last 30 min. of fishing. This Morning Earl, new friend from Florida, and I got started EARLY and right of the bat we had three keepers, power worm, and shakey head, same places as last night, same bait, we then found some schoolers and for the next 30 min. Earl had a ball on a pop-r. I think the night bite is much better than the day time bite. Two things to keep in mind, when it’s dark think light, big docks, and when you think your fishing to slow, slow down. If you would like to go fishing give me a call. Thanks Coach
