Fishing Notes

It was tough morning of fishing on the “Crappie Hour” with an early fog and strong winds. The terova sometimes has a mind of its own. Upgrading to an ultrex soon. Trolled lipless crank baits behind #2 tadpoles 60′ back. This takes the lures 18′ down at 1.7mph. The hot lure was a #3 lindy river rocker in blue and chrome. Also pulled michigan stinger spoons behind 1 oz bead chain trolling sinker. the best color was green and yellow with a copper back. Most of the fish came in 18 to 24 feet of water. The crappie were sitting on the bottom close to bait and structure. Tight Lines -Captain Dave
