Location/Presentation/Structure
Fished north shore down to the twin islands and the Gravois. Fished average 12 to 15 foot deep around brush close to the channel. I would have to hit 4 good docks to get a bite. Used 2.5 inch bobby garland slab slayer and baby shad along with strike king bait on 1/8 ounce red hook jig heads. 4 lb. Ande Green line which was extremely hard to see in the overcast conditions. Will be changing colors. A slow steady retrieve seemed to work better the twitching the bait.
Fishing Notes

Cold rain started pretty early in the morning and steadily seemed to slow down the bite. Bite was not good anywhere but worse in the Gravois. The Osage has a little more stain in the water. I’ve run 500 gallons of fuel thru my Mercury 4 stroke v8 already without a hitch. Still very impressed with the Motor.
