Fishing Notes |

Well Andre and I put in down by the dam today and the Osage was to dirty for 39 degree water to catch them. We relocated to the Gravois which was much cleaner. We bounced around and settled in on a dock row that side imaged a lot of fish on the main Gravois Channel. Struggle to get bit but figured it out. One of us snagged a shad and it had a dark blue back with some purple mixed in. It closely matched the strike king shad pole smoke shad color so I switched over from blue ice. The fish were from one foot off the bottom to 10 feet. Water depth varied from 18 to 40 feet. The Gravois had back flow into it today as our lines would not go straight down w the 1/16th ounce head. size was good today but no giants. Whites were mixed in with the crappie. Thanks to Pro’s Choice Marine and Mercury for keeping us on the water. Check out the new V-8 4 Strokes! |
