Fishing Notes

See video link for shots of today’s’ catch.  I had to throw the Drum Photo in for some comic relief!

I Spent about 3 hours on the water today around Shawnee Bend. Beautiful day most of the day. Light wind (more would have helped) with the weather warming as the day progressed. I started in the back of a creek on a secondary (see map) and worked my way to the main lake. Smaller fish came more in the backs of the creek. I stopped when the middle of creek was getting less than 10′ and worked my way back out. All fish came on Vision 110 Ozark Shad about 3-5 feet from the bank. No big fish today but a couple keepers to make the day worth it.  I didn’t have to work the bait that slow.  I had about a 3-5 second pause when they hit.  Stay safe and get outdoors but stay six feet from the bass.
