Back From Lake Guntersville

Guys im back from lake Guntersville and ready to get some fresh crappie reports up. From what ive heard the fishing is still really good. From Shawnee Bend to the dam i have reports of the bobber / cork bite is still on fire. Good friend Bill Davenport went out yesterday and caught the snot out of them right in the pea gravel pockets that we have been talking about for the past 3 weeks. To me it seems like the crappie will be up there until the spawn. So for now continue to look for these types of areas and trow the cork up there. I know we have some overcast days coming up so just back off a hair and maybe set your cork a bit deeper, but on the sunny days they are right on the bank. Any type of 1/16th ounce jig will work, if water is stained make sure there is some sort of Chartruese in your bait. On the sunny days you might not need the cork just throw the paddle tail right on the bank and slow roll it back in. I will be out most the week and get some more information to you guys.
