Crappie about to bust loose!!

The crappie fishing has slowed down just a bit in the last 2 weeks. For awhile it was madness, but now it seems to be back 2 reality. The fish that had once pulled up to the back have backed off some, and set up in shallow brush piles or docks nearby. The fishi ng i did this past week i actually found the fish set up right inside main lake points tucked tight under docks. Reports of guys catching them on corks is still coming in , but they are not right on the bank, there setting there corks at about 4-5 foot and catching them around pea gravel pockets and indents in the bank. This week coming up we expected to get real warm weather. Guys its so close to grabing a paddle tail bait with a spinner head on it and just cruzing around these pockets in the creeks and main lake. The males will get up there first and the females will stage right noff the bank. This will be the pre spawn week, i just have a feeling. The glaze arm is still pretty dirty, so chartruse colors and bright colors are recommended. The toll bridge to the dam seem to be pretty clean, just a bit of stain to it. I recomend shad, and natural colors in these areas. Definetly try your paddle tails on the bank as sun gets up, and in early mormimg try brush and corks, and docks. I think in these next few weeks we will see a big increase of action on the water for both crappie and bass as they are going to feed up for the spawn that is so very close!! Good luck to all,  and send in some reports, thanks guys!!!
