Callaway Bass Anglers Tournament Results

First and foremost, we would like to thank Tom O'Brien with Callaway Bass Anglers for providing us with their tournament  results.  Tom has been extremly helpful in taking the time to send the Bassing Bob tournaments result form to us. Thanks Tom!!

The Callaway Bass Anglers (CBA) fishing club was founded in 2003 by a small group of anglers from Callaway County. The club travels to the Lake of the Ozarks, Mark Twain, and Truman Lake. CBA has five buddy-bass tournaments, three open tournaments, and a year end fish-off. CBA is a small competitive club that is great for part-time anglers who enjoy competitive fishing.

The weather was in the 90's with mostly sunny skies with occasional cloud cover.  The water temperature was around 80 degrees. There were 8 boats that particpated in this tournamnet that took out of Larry Gale Access in the Niangua Arm of the lake.

It was a hot day with a high sun for most of the day and the bite was tough. Only one Limit was caughtbut everyone caught fish. 1st place was caught on crankbaits and topwater and 2nd place was caught on soft plastics around the docks.

1st place went to Chad Deevers and Jim Frank with a limit of 5 bass weighing 14.46. Congratulations Chad and Jim!!

2nd place went to Robert Kleinsorge and Tom O'Brien with  4 bass weighing 10.06

3rd place went to Terry Burk and Tim Burk with 2 bass weighing in at 6.80

Big Bass was awarded to Chad Deevers and Jim Frank with a LOZ 4.09 pounder
