Warm Day Today, But Still Ice

After a nice warm day today with plenty of wind, the lake is still frozen.  While the sunshine and warmth seems to be making some progress on melting the ice, it will likely take several days of this weather to get the lake into a condition that is fishable and safe.  The ice got very thick on the lake over the past few weeks.   I plan to make a decision by noon time on Thursday regarding the Bassing Bob Tournament scheduled for this Saturday, February 22nd.   Stay tuned.  In the meantime, I plan to travel to Tablerock Lake tomorrow for fishing with my good friend Marcus Sycora.  I hope to have some fish and a fishing report to post tomorrow.  I will need to knock the dust off the rods as I have not fished in 3 weeks, other than the river below the dam last week.
