Bassing Bob & Robins Resort Winter Bass Challenge 2013/14 Final And 2014/15 Tournament Dates Announced
2013/14 Winter Bass Challenge Final Tournament Rescheduled to Saturday, December 13th 2014
Bassing Bob's & Robins Resort will hold the 2013/2014 seaons final tournament on Saturday December 13th 2014. Take off from Robins Resort will be at 8:00AM and weigh-in at Robins Resort will be at 3:30PM. This is an open buddy tourmament, all anglers welcome. The tournament will include the crowning of the inaugral season Winter Bass Challenge Championship team which is based in the total weight for all tournaments fished. Even if you are not fishing for the championship pot, you are welcome to fish the tournament and win cash. The Championship Pot, is a side pot put aside from each tourmanent last year. Payouts for the tournament are unique and provide everyone a chance to cash a check. Including a slot prize based on being 5 pounds less than the winning weight, lowest weight for a 5 fish limit, big bass side pot in addition to the top three total weight finishers. Take off for each tournament will be 8:00AM from Robins Resort and the weigh-in will be at 3:30PM at Robins Resort.
The application form and rules for the 2nd Annual Winter Bass Challenge will be available soon. While substantially similar to 2013/14 tournament, we will be adding an additional prize for the largest spotted bass in addition to the big bass side pot. We will also be paying additional heaviest weight places for every 10 boats over 30 boats.
We will look forward to some fun and fishing with all of you. Last year tournaments were great fun and many anglers cashed checks without being in the top 3 places. We will look forward to greeting you all with coffee and doughnuts at take off and hot dogs and softw drinks at the weigh-ins.
