Mark Wiese Jr. Moves To 21st Place At The B.A.S.S Nation Championship After Day 2

Mark Weise Jr. moved up to 21st place in the B.A.S.S National Championship on Friday. Mark weighed in 5 fish on day 2 with a weight of 5 pounds, 5 ounces for a 2 day total of 11 pounds, 14 Ounces.  The first place leader on day 1 held the lead with a total 2 day weight of 23 pounds, 4 ounces.  In order for Mark to make the Bassmasters Classic he will need to finish first of all the Central Division contenders.  The day 2 leader of the Central division is Teb Jones with a 2 day weight of 17 pounds, 12 ounces. 

 

 

Early Story 11-7-2014

Mark Wiese Jr. in 25th place at the B.A.S.S Nation Championship after Day 1

Mark Wisse Jr. finished in first place on the Missouri state team in the BASS Nation Central Divisional tournament back in June. Mark is representing Missouri at the B.A.S.S. Nation Championship this weekend on the Quachita River in Monroe, Louisiana.

The top angler from each state have qualified for this event along with 10 countries outside the United States participating as well.. The anglers who win their divisions in this tournament will advance to the 2015 Bassmaster Classic on Lake Hartwell.

Only six anglers will advance to the 2015 GEICO Bassmaster Classic. To earn a Classic berth, an angler must be the best in his division. As it stands, Mark weighed in 4 keepers with a weight of 6 pounds 9 Oz’s.  Currently after day 1 weigh in, the top weight for the Central Division is 9 pounds 3 Oz’s. 

The overall top weight on day one is 11-8 weighed in by Coby Corden from the Southern Division.
