Time: Take off at 7:30AM; Weigh-in at 2:30PM
We are planning to hold our final two Winter Bass Challenge Tournaments on Saturday February 4th and Sunday February 5th. Registration and breakfast will begin at 6:15 AM.
Each tournament will be executed as individual tournaments, with separate registrations and pay-outs for each of the tournaments. We will include an optional side pot of $30.00 for those anglers that plan to fish both days and wish to participate in the side pot for total weight over both days. We will pay out 1 place for every 7 teams that participate in the two day side pot.
If you have paid for a cancelled tournament and did not fish any tournaments yet, your fees will be forwarded to either of these two tournaments.
Special Time for Super Bowl Sunday February 5th – Take-off 7:30AM and Weigh-in 2:30
In consideration of Super Bowl Sunday, we will take off at 7:30AM and weigh-in at 2:30, hopefully that will give most of you time to get back to watch much of the Super Bowl.
Winter Bass Challenge Championship Pot and Trophy to be Awarded on Sunday February 5th.
Each tournament during the Winter Bass Challenge, 5% of all registration fees are set aside for the championship pot. Due to cancellations and rescheduling of tournaments, we realize that not everyone may have been able to make their schedules work out to make all 4 tournaments, therefore the team that has the most total weight for 3 of the 4 tournaments will be crowned as champions.
Reminder to all teaams that have a chance at the championship pot, each team can use one alternate fisherman for any one of the first 3 tournaments or fish by themselves. However, on Sunday the 5th, you must fish with your team partner or by yourself to qualify for the championship pot. Considering that the total weight for 3 tournaments will determine the championship team, you are not required to fish on Sunday the 5th to win.
Although we will be crowning a championship team on Sunday, the tournament will be run as an single standalone tournament with standard pay-outs as all tournaments during the series. You do not have to be a BassingBob.com member to participate and there are no qualification requirements to fish the final tournament Sunday the 5th.
