Wednesday Update – Tournament is Cancelled

The Bassing Bob tournament scheduled for this coming weekend, January 12th, 2019 out of Alhonna is cancelled due to the forecast of inclement weather on Friday and Saturday.   While the fish often bite good in this type of weather in the winter and forecast may change, we want to make this early decision in consideration of the many anglers that travel and plan work scheduled aroound these tournaments and the safety of the anglers travelling and the risk of icy ramps that can be very hazardous is our main concern.  

Rescheduled for Sunday January 27th

We are going to reschedule the tournament for Sunday January 27th out of Alhonna, take off at 8:00AM.   Therefore we will be going back to back, Saturday the 26th, which is our next regular scheduled tournament and the next day, Sunday the 27th.   Each tournament will be executed as single day tournaments and we will have an optional side pot for two day combined weight.

Tuesday Update

The Bassing Bob tournament scheduled for this coming weekend, January 12th, 2019 out of Alhonna is likely going to be cancelled due to the forecast of inclement weather on Friday and Saturday.   We will make a final decision tomorrow, Wednesday the 9th by noon.   While the fish often bite good in this type of weather in the winter, the safety of the anglers travelling and the risk of icy ramps that can be very hazardous is our main concern.   It is very likely that we will cancel the tournament.  Stay tuned here and on FB for update tomorrow.
