4th Matt Schellert 5 13.62 It was a cold one tonight, but that didn’t stop the anglers from doing what they love to do. BassingBob sent them out with a hot cup of coffee and provided a slight sugar rush with cookies tonight. Some good fish were caught this evening, most were small males, but a few big ones were found also. From reports, the top bait by far was the Carolina rig, and Shakyheads, but others said they had good results with Jigs, Big Brushhawgs and centipedes. This is such a fun event to cover, Jason and the gang from Rippin’ Lips are always there, and Kathy and Lou always put on a great tournament. Thanks guys for letting us join you every week. The weather forecast for next week looks great, so be sure and show up and get your fish on. Launch is at PB#2 at 6:30 pm, with weigh in at 10:00pm. See ya there, and as always…….Happy Fishing! |
