Anglers In Action 2015 Team Championship On Lake Of The Ozarks

What a great weekend of competitive fishing on Lake of the Ozarks. 108 teams, which qualified from team trail season at Stockton, Lake of the Ozarks, Tablerock, Truman, Pomme de Terre, Ky Lake and Grand Lake, competed in this years Championship on Lake of the Ozarks. Both days were not the best conditions for catching giants, their was high pressure, high sunny skies and very little wind. Most fisherman reported a tough bite both days, with most keeper bass being caught on topwater baits and jigs. Most of the top winning anglers reported making a lot of moves throughout the day and covering a lot of water. Many of the quality fish were caught on topwater baits being thrown behind and around docks. Some fisherman caught quality fish and big bags up the river and in the Nianguas. The winning team of Shawn Kowall and Mike Hill reported catching their fish between the lodge area to Tan Tara, covering a lot of water with top water baits and jigs.
