Tournament Notes

Totally different conditions today. Yesterday was cloudy and rainy with big winds, today was mostly sunny, warmer and big winds. A number of fisherman that got them yesterday struggled today, however the top anglers figured them out, three of the final 4 are Missouri Lake of the Ozarks fisherman. They will fish tomorrow in the final day against the cut field of 38 anglers with the top fisherman from each state moving on to the BASS Nation Championship, the anglers also compete for cash prizes tomorrow’s final day. From discussions I had with several anglers the bite is the same bite as the past couple of weeks, the stick bait, spinner bait, rock crawler/wiggle wart and jig/bottom bait. The fisherman are bit tighter lipped about patterns, however from the conversations I have had the bite is from dam to dam, mostly around spawning pockets, secondary points, main lake points, brush piles and along side spawning area docks. It is impressive to see these weights, many many weights over 15 pounds, all WITHOUT THE A-RIG.
