The results will be posted at http://www.nebraskabass.com/nebraska-federation-nation-tournament-information Pictures from the event today can be found on BassingBob.com Photos – Nebraska BASS Nation The Nebraska BASS Nation anglers did not let the heavy rain, rising and dirtier water keep them from whacking some nice Lake of the Ozarks Bass. There we (4) 6 pounders weighed in today with the biggest bass a 6.97 pound hawg. There were also lots of 5, 4 and 3 pounders brought to the scales. The tournament weights are for individual anglers not a buddy team. While most fisherman are a bit tight lipped about their bite and patterns since they fish again tomorrow, the baits and patterns that I was able to gather is similar to typical LOZ spring time junk fishing, where just about anything can catch em. A number of fisherman ran to a bit clearer water above the toll bridge and other fished the more stained water. Anglers that were willing to share their story from today reported catching their bigger fish on the spinner bait, top water baits (Pop R and Whopper Plopper), Shaky Head worm, creature baits pegged and on C-rig, Jig and crank baits. Most fish came shallow toward the backs of creeks and on secondary points with some fish being caught on main lake points, bluff cuts and bluff ledges. Fishing baits behind docks also produced some big fish today. No single pattern has seemed to dominate the bite in the past couple of days. |
