Another good night for the fifty-seven (57) teams who took out of PB#2. The bigger bass were not as active tonight as they have been, but the bite was good with a lot of fish caught. The cold front apparently kept the bigger bass in hiding. A lot of the anglers commented they had several bass come unbuttoned after setting the hook. The lake level is 658.48 and the surface water temperature averaged 69 degrees. The water clarity is still muddy in the Osage and stained in some of the bigger coves and creeks. The best bite continues to be spinner baits, crank baits and creature baits. See photos at https://www.facebook.com/missouriangler/ |
