Lake of the Ozarks Angler Dennis Berhorst is in 4th place with 30.0, Lake of the Ozarks Angler Jeremy Johnson is in 10th with 27.10 and final cut to 12 for tomorrows championship was John Andrews with 27.0. You can see the full results on www.flwfishing.com. The anglers that I talked to caught most of their keeper bass the past two days on top water bait, spinner baits, chatter baits, jigs and shaky heads. The topwater bite has been a bit non consistent but has produced limits fished on main lake and just inside of main lake banks and points. There is a deep rock bite also in 15′-30′ of water on the jig and worm. Anglers also reported catching quality bass in the backs of coves/creeks with bait fish on the worm, top water and moving baits. Quality fish were also caught fishing boat docks, both shallow docks and docks just inside of main lake banks/coves, fishing top water baits and bottom baits behind the docks and on the shallow sides of docks. There is also a consistent bite on main lake dock corners, fronts and sides with multiple moving baits, but mostly small keepers and spotted bass. |
