Today, 149 Pro’s and Co-Anglers took off from PB2 in the FLW BFL tournament. I took 20.12 pounds to win on the boat side and 15.6 pounds to cash a check, with 29 places being paid. On the Co-Angler side, it took 16.15 pounds to win and 10.9 pounds to get a check. The patterns and baits were typical of late spring fishing on Lake of the Ozarks with anglers reporting catching quality fish around spawning pockets, main lake points, secondary points and main lake banks with big rocks and ledges. The main lake fish were caught on swim baits, square bills, jigs, shaky heads, crank baits and top water baits. The spawning pocket fish were caught on shallow diving crank baits, carolina rigged creature baits, shaky heads, jig and top water baits. All areas of the lake produced quality fish with the winner catching his fish on off shore structure in the Gravois area of the lake.
