It seems that every Wednesday there is rain and severe weather warnings, and that’s what happened tonight. Because of the storms the thirty-five teams had their tournament hours changed to 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm instead of the normal 3 1/2 hours, which was a could call because the lightning and rains came during weigh-in. The surface water temperature is 69 degrees with a lake level of 659. The lake is off color to muddy as a result of Truman Lake and the heavy rains. The front moving towards the lake kick started the bite tonight resulting in four bass weighing 5 pounds and eight bass weighing 4 pounds brought to the scales. There were fourteen, four fish limits weighed, not counting several more that weren’t weighed because their weight was only eight or nine pounds. The best bite tonight was jigs and crank baits, Some anglers said they caught a few on spinner bait. 1ST- CHAD GREEN & ROBBY ROBINSON -15.20 LBS.
