28 teams took off from PB2 at 8:00PM Saturday evening and fished all night with weigh in at 7:00AM on Sunday Morning. While there were a lot of big fish caught, every team weighed in fish and it seemed that all teams had a good one. Second big bass was 5.40 by Drew Hair and Buddy Dablin. There were 11 four plus pounders and 3 five plus. However, the bite some what slowed down as the amount of current being drawn through the dam was reduced. Most anglers reported catching their quality fish on jigs, shaky head worms, texas rigged worms and the black spinner bait. After dark the bite seemed to better in brush piles just inside of main lake points and around secondary points. The lights of condo docks also produced quality fish after dark on the jig and shaky head. |
