After a tough bite reported by most anglers on Day 1, Pro Roger Fitzparick, figured them out for 2 days in a row with a two day total of 36.3 pounds. Roger had 20+ pounds day 1 and backed that up with 15+ pounds today. Roger reported catching most of his fish shallow way up in big creeks, flipping docks with a creature bait but also caught some key fish deep when the water generation kicked on. Most anglers reported the same sort of patterns, fishing worms, jig and creature baits shallow and also fishing heavy worms n jigs deep. There were reports of quality fish being caught on a square bill, worms and swim baits along side of docks. Top 25 anglers caught big ones all over the lake, from the river area to the dam. In all areas, there was a shallow back of creeks bite around shallow docks, bank shade and wood lay downs as well as a deep bite on main lake points with the worm and jigs. |
