St Louis Bassbusters Club took off at 7:00 this morning and weighed in at 3:00 at PB2. Today was Bass Busters open tournament which they use for fund raising for the club. (2) of the Bass Busters Club member teams finished in the money, which paid 4 places. 1st place team reported catching a small limit early fishing main lake points from the toll bridge to the dam, catching their fish on 6th Sense Shaky Head with 6th Sense Worm and crankbaits. They adjusted to try to find bigger bites to secondary points with wind and big rocks, catching some big one on the 6th Sense Shaky Head and 6th Sense Worm. Most of their fish came from the bank out to 12′ of water. Third place, Todd Gregg, fishing solo today reported catching his 14+ pounds fishing the Carolina Rig Brush Hog around spawning pockets off the sides of creeks from the mouth of the Glaize to the Toll Bridge. |
