Tonight there were fifty seven (57) teams fishing the Missouri Angler Wednesday Night Tournament and the bite was pretty tough for most of the anglers. As usual the smaller bass were biting, but the bigger bass were hard to come by. Some of the bass are still on beds and others are anyone’s guess at least tonight. A cold front came through, which could be a good excuse for not getting in the weigh-in line. There was only one, 5 pound bass brought to the scales and seven, 4 pound bass weighed. A lot of the anglers said they had two or three keepers, but dumped them. The current lake level is 659.4 with heavy generation in anticipation of rain the next three or four days. The surface water temperature is 63 degrees. |
