Tournament Notes

Another great night for fishing and the bass were biting for the fifty-three (53) teams. However, getting that 5 to 7 pound bite wasn’t easy as the 15 and 16 inch bite. There are still some bass on the beds with most of the bass being caught on the bank out to 6 to 8 feet. According to some of the anglers, jigs, senko’s and creature baits were their best bite.

There were only two bass weighing 5 pounds brought to the scales and just six bass weighing 4 pounds, and 6 bass weighing 3 pounds.

The current lake is 659.4 with a surface water temperature of 72 degrees. The water clarity is mostly clear in the mid and lower area of the lake with a lot of debris floating in the main lake and creeks.

Next week will be Bass Cat Quest sponsored by Dupo Marine, located in Dupo, Illinos and Bass Cat Boats, located in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Also, Joe Dorris of Charger Boats, located in Richland, Missouri will give incentive money to any owner of a Charger boat winning the Missouri Angler Wednesday Night tournament.
