Tonight was one of the best nights for catching bass for the sixty (60) teams fishing the Missouri Angler Wednesday Night tournament since going to the four fish limit. Thirty three teams weighed limits that included three bass weighing 5 pounds, twelve weighing 4 pounds and thirteen weighing 3 pounds. Several teams had limits in the 12 pound range, however did not get in the weigh-in line since it took 14 pounds or better to get in the money. The best bite were jigs, worms and creature baits worked 8 to 12 feet off main lake and secondary points. The lake level is 658.6 with heavy generation and a surface water temperature of 77 to 79 degrees. The mid lake is fairly clear considering the 4 to 5 inches of rain Monday. Next weeks tournament will be a Bass Cat Quest sponsored by Dupo Marine, located in Dupo, Illinois and Bass Cat Boats, located in Mountain Home, Arkansas. 1st – Scott & Codi Stonitsch – 17.70 lbs. 2nd Big Bass caught by Rich & Kyle Wagner – 5.53 lb.– received a certificate for an oil change at Big “O” Tire in Osage Beach.
