Anglers fished in some brutal conditions today with rain and a wet soaking snow and as always some caught them today. Leading the pack on day 1 of the 2-day championship are BassingBob advisors Jim and Denise Dill with 22.27 lbs. of Lake of the Ozarks bass! Second place are the team of Darrel Ivey Jr. and Brent Fohn with 18.95 and not far behind them John McDaniel and Casey McTaggart with 18.18. Anglers reported a shallow bite fishing both the dirty and clean water with jerkbaits, crank baits, jigs and a few spinnerbait fish. |
