Tournament Notes |

The bite continues to be tough for big fish and big limits on LOZ. However, the bite is getting better as indicated by the top weight today of 15.86 pounds and 7 angler teams out of 14 boats caught limits, including big bass of 6.80 and two 5+ pounders caught today. Quality bass were reported being caught on crank baits, jigs and spinner baits, Hurricane Deck Area, Lower End/Gravois and the Dam area, mostly covering water on creek channel banks, main lake and secondary points and behind dock, all on big rock banks with wind being a key. Top water baits, buzz bait and whopper plopper also produced some quality bites.
