Tournament Notes

Another great night of fishing and catching for the fifty (50) teams fishing the Missouri Angler Wednesday Night Tournament. Twenty- five teams weighed their four fish limits that had to be thirteen pounds or better to get in the check line. The bite has been exceptional the last few weeks with a lot 4 and 5 pound bass being brought to the scales. There were fourteen 4 pound and three 5 pound bass brought to the scales tonight.

The better bite has been jigs and swimbaits fished on main lake and secondary points. The better fish seem to be ten to fifteen feet. Ameren is still running heavy generation (37,011.67 cfs) with a lake level of 658.03. The lake is clearing up with a surface water temperature of 76 degrees. There is still some debris in the Grand Glaize arm.
