Another great night of fishing and it was evident by the weights of the four fish limit brought to the scales by twenty-eight of the fifty-four (54) teams fishing the Missouri Angler Wednesday Night Tournament. There were fourteen 4 pound, four 5 pound and one 6 pound bass weighed.
Ameren is still releasing water (37,088.59 cfs) and the lake level is 659.34. The surface water temperature is 81 degrees with visibility of two feet. It’s apparent that the heavy current is helping the swimbait bite and crankbait on the main lake points. Some of he angler said they caught keepers in the creeks on secondary points and around docks on jigs and worms.
