There were forty-seven (47) teams fishing the Missouri Angler Wednesday Night Tournament and the bass were biting, especially the four and five pounders. It seems the bite is getting better week after week. Ameren is still releasing 37,000 cfs, which is helping the anglers fishing main lake points. The surface water temperature is 82 degrees.
The best bite has been jigs, worms crankbaits and swimbaits anywhere from 10 to 20 feet. Some anglers said they caught keepers flipping docks. There were eleven 4 pound and five 5 pounders brought to the scales.
Next Wednesday, June 29th will be Bass Cat Quest sponsored by Boat Wrx of Osage Beach, Missouri and Bass Cat Boats of Mountain Home, Arkansas.
