It appears the 100 degree temperature kept a lot of the anglers away this evening. There were only twenty-nine (29) teams fishing the Missouri Angler Wednesday Night Tournament. It was definitely hot and humid.
According to some of the anglers, jigs, worms and crankbaits were the better bite anywhere from 12 to 20 feet. There five 3 pound, four 4 pound and two 5 pound bass brought to the scales. Fourteen teams weighed in.
The surface water temperature is 86 to 88 degrees. There was heavy generation (30,916.20 cfs) at take off and reduced to light generation (1,295.19 cfs.)
Next week, July 13th, will be Bass Cat Quest sponsored by BoatWrx of Osage Beach, Missouri and Bass Cat Boats of Mountain Home, Arkansas. Hope to see a boat load of Bass Cat’s next week.
