It’s apparent that the 100 degree weather and high gas prices have kept a lot of anglers at home and not on the lake. Tonight there were only twenty-two (22) teams fishing the Missouri Angler Wednesday Night Tournament and fishing was pretty tough for most of the anglers. Out of the twenty-two teams only six teams brought their four fish limit to the scales. There were just one 3. two 4 and one 5 pounders weighed, not counting a few two pounders.
According to some of the anglers there keepers came on worms and jigs 8 to 15 feet. Some in brush and on ledges.
The current lake level is 659.74 with a surface water temperature of 88 degrees.
Next week, August 10th, is Bass Cat Quest sponsored by BoatWxs of of Osage Beach, Missouri and Bass Cat Boat of Mountain Home, Arkansas.
