Another perfect night for fishing weather wise, but the bite was pretty tough for most of the thirty-two teams fishing the Missouri Angler Wednesday Night Tournament. There were only seven 4 fish limits brought to the scales. According to most of the anglers they caught several bass 13 to 14 inches, but keepers were hard to come by.
Jigs and worms seemed to be the best bait fished shallow 4 to 13 feet off secondary points and around boat docks with brush, however, not all brush piles were holding fish. There was just one 3 pound and six 4 pound bass weighed.
The current lake level is 659.10 with light generation (1,614.23 CFS). The surface water temperature is 83 to 84 degrees. Big bass weighed 4.88 pounds.
