Tournament Notes

Lake of the Ozarks bass fishing is starting to pick up after a month or two of very tough fishing.

There are a lot more 4-5-6 pounders being brought to the scales in the past couple of weekends.

The USA Bassin Regional winners Joe and Lawson, caught em day 1 on spinner baits and top water on main lake and secondary points on banks with big black rocks from Glaize to the Gravois.  They did not change up that pattern much on day 2, they also caught some key fish the last two days, same stretch on the new Hibdon Hammer jig, black n blue.

2nd place Terry Blankenship and Rick Fishback also caught quality fish on the lower end flipping around boat docks with jigs and tubes, docks in 5′-10′ of water.  Also caught some fish on square bill around docks.

Pretty much same reports from most anglers, spinner baits, top water baits and jigs/creature baits.  Covering water on big rock banks, some jigs on main lake points and flipping boat docks with jigs and creature baits, mid  to3/4 back of creeks and side pockets.
