Tournament Notes
A great turnout for the Missouri Angler Wednesday night Tournament. The weather was perfect a little windy though, but that didn’t effect the fishing for the forty-three teams in fact it helped, which is evident by the bass caught. According the anglers they caught a lot of 13 and 14 inch bass. Most of the anglers said they caught their bass on jigs, bottom baits and spinner baits.
The bass seemed to be in 5 to 8 feet on pea gravel banks.
The lake is still down (656.48) and the surface water is 59 to 60 degrees about 5 or 6 degrees cooler than it normally is this time of he month.
The next tournament on May 3rd will be a Bass Cat Quest sponsored by Bass Cat dealer BoatWrx, in Osage Beach and Bass Cat Boats, in Mountain home, Arkansas. So you anglers with Bass Cats need to show up.
