There were 9 three pound, 12 four pound, 2 five pound and one 6.02 lunker for big bass of the tournament. The lake level is 656.92, which is low for this time of the year. The surface water temperature ranged between 68 and 70 degrees in the mid-lake area.
According to some of the anglers they caught their bass on a various baits, jigs, spinner bait, top water and creature baits 5 to 8 feet. Most of the bass weighed were apparently males because very few had bloody tails.
