Tonight there was a full moon for the forty-five (45) teams fishing the last regular Missouri Angler Wednesday Night Tournament of the year. There were very few big boats, if any at all and the fishing was good for some and not so to good for others. According to some of the anglers they caught there keepers shallow and others in brush 8 to 12 feet on worms, creature baits and jigs. There were only ten, 4 fish limits brought to the scales with big bass of the tournament weighing 5.58 pounds caught by the team of Josh Swineburg and Stan Green. Most of the anglers said they they caught quite a few 13 and 14 inch bass, but found it tough for a 15 inch keeper. There was only one, four pound bass weighed and four, three pound bass weighed.
The current lake level is 659.80 with light generation. The surface water temperature is 83 degrees.
The Championship tournament on September 13 will also be Bass Cat Quest sponsored by Bass Cat Boats, in Mountain Home, Arkansas and BoatWrx, in Osage Beach, Missouri.
