Fishing Notes |

It felt good to be back on Lake of the Ozarks today after being at Tablerock for a week. I want to apologize to all of you for the lack of reports last week. The bite is good on the lake. Their a fish everywhere on beds, the water temperature is warm, the lake has just that right stain that should keep the fish shallow and active and catch-able. While the conditions this afternoon were not ideal for site fishing with the wind and stain, it did not matter, i fished a few cuts/pockets just throwing the Carolina Rig baby brush hog parallel to the banks and had a lot of bites, nothing really big but consistent bites. With the wind being good, I thought I would try the buzz bait in the middle of the afternoon on a sunny day, I threw the Crock -o-Gator buzz bait parallel to the banks and had some blow ups and caught one. The buzz bait is such a fun bite. I’m looking forward to getting back on the lake everyday this week. |
